Building Digital Workplaces using Office 365 Content Services

Maarten Visser

A digital workplace is created using a good organisational and technical strategy. This session is about technical strategy and focuses on the services Office 365 can provide to build a Digital Workplace foundation. In the past years (and during Ignite) Microsoft has launched important building blocks to support some of the key workloads; Communication, Collaboration and Integration. Important gaps in collaboration use cases are finally getting filled by Microsoft and most of the Office 365 Services to enable Enterprise Content Management are getting pretty mature. This session is aimed at Cloud Service providers wanting to build their Digital Workplace Service or organisations who want extend their own. This session will look at five most important ECM Use Cases which employees need to be able to perform on a daily basis. From there we investigate which Office 365 services can be used, what gaps still exist, where 3rd party solutions are still needed and what plumbing needs to be done to get the best user experience.
